Born in Brooklyn NYC, djTAO often found himself following in the footsteps of his older brother who essentially introduced him to Hip Hop. Inspired by the movie “Juice”, and his fascination for the Art of Turntablism, djTAO began listening to his brothers cassette tapes and spinning his dad’s old records at the age of 11. Over time, djTAO has developed a unique sound that encompasses his love for hip-hop, R&B, dance, soul, trap, disco, electro and Afro Beats.
Having curated the sounds for a variety of different client types, djTAO has emerged as one of the most sought after up and coming DJ’s in the country. He has lent his services to
clients such as Armani Exchange, Remy Martin, The New York Knicks, VIBE Magazine, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, New York University, James Beard, GUESS, Nike, Edelman, HuffPost, Amref Health, John Jay College, Nickelodeon & The Mercedes Benz Fashion Show. In addition, djTAO can be regularly seen mixing in various nightclubs, private events, corporate events and weddings across the country.
